Before building a report or an integration, it helps to know what ILAP Analytics actually holds. This section describes the data inside the product and how it is organised. It is written for report developers, data engineers and analysts deciding what they can query, and for planners who want to know what their posted schedules become.

What this section covers

  • Reporting data — report schedules, their live and baseline revisions, and activity-level reporting including periodized progress.
  • Planning data — planning schedules, and how they differ from the reporting side.

Knowing which of the two a figure came from matters: they are produced differently and answer different questions, and comparing one against the other without noticing is an easy mistake to make.

Where to go next

ILAP Analytics API covers how to read this data — REST, GraphQL, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric — and what a client needs in order to authenticate.
